WHAT IS MARKETING?
According to the dictionary it means...
"Marketing is the activity, set of institutions, and processes for creating, communicating, delivering, and exchanging offerings that have value for customers, clients, partners, and society at large."
To Me...
It is about letting people know you are out there and running a business so they can see if they are interested in what you offer.
It is about explaining what you have in a clear, concise manner and following up with them and building relationships as you do so. Hopefully this can be done automatically as much as possible so not to take up a lot of anyone's time; BUT, the correspondence needs to be "personal" in nature as much as possible; which means it should state their "first name" at the bare minimum as if you are speaking directly to them.
